Your week, read back. One question to sit with.

On the day you choose, Compass reads everything you captured that week and writes your review. You answer it in a chat, and the commitments you make come back next week.

How it works

How the review works

  1. It arrives on your day

A notification says "Your week in review is ready" on Sunday morning, or on whichever day and at whatever time you set in Settings.

  2. Question first

The review opens with one specific question drawn from your notes, then lays out the week under it.

  3. Five short parts

This week at a glance, What moved, What stalled, The thread worth pulling, and One question to sit with. Every line points at something you wrote or a goal you set.

  4. Answer it

Reply in the chat the way you would to a sharp cofounder. Compass answers with your week in view.

  5. Finish review

Tap Finish review and Compass saves a short summary and up to three commitments to your Memory. Next week's review opens by asking how each one went.

For founders

Where it earns its keep

  • The Sunday reset

Ten minutes with your review before Monday beats an hour of scrolling back through notes.

  • Seeing the stall

What stalled names the goal that got no attention, without judgment, so you can decide whether that was on purpose.

  • Heads-down weeks

Only one or two notes? You get a short, honest version instead of a padded page.

  • Accountability without a coach

Your commitments carry forward, and the next review asks about them first.

Why it is different

What sets it apart

  • Written from your notes

Specific notes, numbers and goals, not a generic productivity checklist.

  • A conversation, not a report

The review is a chat thread, so you can push back, add context and think it through.

  • It closes the loop

Finishing a review turns your answers into commitments that come back next week.

Good to know

The honest limits

  • A week with no notes gets no review. One or two notes get the short version.
  • You get one review a week, whether it arrives on its own or you start it from Reflect.
  • The reminder needs notifications on. You can always start the review from Reflect instead.
  • Part of Compass Pro, which starts with a 14-day free trial.

FAQ

Questions

When does the weekly review arrive?

Sunday at 10:00 in your time zone by default. Change the day and time, or turn it off, in Settings.

Can I do the review on another day?

Yes. Tap Start weekly review in Reflect whenever you are ready.

What if I barely captured anything?

One or two notes get a short review with one honest question. A week with no notes skips the review.

What happens when I tap Finish review?

Compass reads your answers, not its own replies, and saves a short summary and up to three commitments to Memory. The next review starts by asking how they went.

Can Compass nudge me to capture during the week?

Yes. Turn on Daily Check-in in Settings for a quiet prompt to capture what is on your mind, on the days and at the time you pick.
