Questions entrepreneurs ask
Can I keep several businesses separate?
Yes. Create a project for each in Settings, with a name and a mission, and switch from the folder menu on Home, Reflect or Create. Insights and memory stay inside each project.
Can I see across all my projects at once?
Search and the weekly review can. Search by meaning looks across every note, and the weekly review reads the whole week whichever project a note is in. Insights and memory stay per project on purpose.
Does Compass decide which project a note belongs to?
No. It lands in the active project, and you can move it. Inside that project Compass does file it under a topic, like Business Model or Experiments.
I capture ideas all day. Is there a cap?
Each recording can run up to two hours. Recorded conversations have a budget of 180 minutes a day, and automatic post drafts stop at 20 a day.
Will Compass tell me which idea to pursue?
No. It keeps your reasoning, holds the beliefs you are testing, and flags contradictions across your notes. It does not score ideas or research markets for you.
