Questions builders ask
Does Compass work in my code editor?
No. It is an iPhone notebook, not a dictation keyboard, so it does not type into other apps.
Can it post my build log?
It drafts an X post and a LinkedIn post from any note of 40 words or more, using only what the note says. You review, then post or schedule. It stops at 20 automatic drafts a day, and you can turn them off.
Will it get technical words right?
Add them to your Dictionary, up to 50 terms with up to 8 mishearings each. Correct a transcript by hand and Compass can learn the fix.
Does it connect to GitHub or Linear?
Not today. Export your notes as Markdown or JSON and take them where you need them.
What if I am not ready to share something?
Mark the note Private. Private notes are never drafted into posts, and a note made private later has its drafts archived.
